These laces were not difficult to thread on the shoes, and it was easy to install the metal clips. The instructions that came with the laces were clear and they even give you a bonus lace in case you mess up cutting the length. I got the length right on my first try.
My kiddo has worn the shoes these laces are installed on a few times now, and I am a little disappointed in how easily they come undone. For example, this morning he was climbing around inside the car and the buckle came undone. BUT, even if it comes undone, the lace stays on the shoe and the shoe stays on the foot so… I think ultimately it's worth the convenience and safety (no risk of tripping on undone laces).
